First I must begin by explaining what the word Tinto means in Colombia, to begin with if someone offers you a “tinto” or “tintico” in the morning: don't worry, it's coffee, not red wine! Tinto, or tintico as we say, is a literal term that refers to the resemblance of classic black coffee to the color and appearance of ink.In my personal story it all started when I was little, I lived together with my parents and siblings, my father Fernando is a coffee lover, he used to ask me specifically to prepare a Tinto and it was not once a day, it was 8 to 10 per day!
